These motherboards came from a liquidated data center. The most abuse they seem to have had is through the sata ports for all the data transfer. I tested and benchmarked the ram, cpu, and sata in linux (posted pics). The turbo (3.3GHz--->3.6GHz) was turned off in all the BIOS settings so they weren't even used to their fullest potential. Plan on testing this myself soon.
Need a gpu in to start the motherboard, otherwise it will turn on and off. The motherboards turn on for a brief second then turn off again, then back on and function normally. All of these do this action. Also may be because I have only used the power button on the motherboard to turn them on and. Or can mix and match a bit.The item "EVGA x58 SLI3 Motherboard with intel i7 980 CPU 3.6GHz" is in sale since Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
